Mr. Guoqiang Wang has worked in the Ministry of Health, the China Food and Drug Administration and the National Family Planning Commission (NFPC) for many years. In December 2000, he served as a member of the Party Leadership Group and as Deputy Director of the NFPC. In March 2003, he again served as a member of the Party Leadership Group and became Deputy Director of the National Population and Family Planning Commission (NPFPC), the renamed NFPC. In September 2003, he acted concurrently as the Party Secretary of Departments and the President of the Party School of Departments, both under the NPFPC. He became the Managing Vice Chairman of the China Population Association in June 2002 and was promoted to the position of Vice Chairman in December 2007.

Since 2007, he has served as Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Health, and Director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Professor Jiefu Huang is a world-class surgeon who still keep clinical practice and a distinguished administrator who plays active role in China’s medical profession. He is the one who successfully performed the first Chinese liver transplantation in 1994, and first Asian combined liver-kidney transplantation in 1997.He is acknowledged as the academic leader to start the liver transplantation development in China by Chinese transplant professional. He plays a vital role in the promulgation and implementation of the organ transplantation regulation in China. Being the Chairman of National Organ Donation and Transplantation Committee, he has orchestrated the entire organ transplantation reform and developed a deceased organ donation program as an ethical alternative source of organs, ending the use of executed prisoner’s organs. He was the laureate of GUSI Peace Prize 2015 and Wu Jie ping Medicine Award 2015 for his outstanding contribution. As president of China’s Hospital Association and Dean of the hospital management research institute of Tsinghua university, he is involved in China’s public hospital’s reform. He is highly recognized as a prominent leader in China’s healthcare reform by domestic and international medical communities.

Mr. Diego Aulestia Valencia is a development economist holding a Master’s Degree in Economics (1991) at the University of Oregon (USA), and in Latin American Studies, at the London’s School of Economics. He has also pursue graduate studies in history and urban studies.

Before being appointed as Permanent Representative of Ecuador to the WTO, the Ambassador was Director of the School of Government at the Univesidad de los Hemisferios (Ecuador). As an academic he has taught in Ecuador and Venezuela, and presented lectures in the United States, England, Mexico and France. In 2017 he was named Senior Associate at the Great Cities Institute in the University of Illinois at Chicago (USA). He has published several articles on urban issues, international economics and history.

Former Minister of International Trade (2915-2016); Urban Development and Housing (2013-2015) and Executive President of Ecuador’s Development Bank, Ambassador Aulestia also carries an extensive experience in public and development economics. As overseas duties he was appointed Ambassador of Ecuador in Portugal (2012-2013) and Representative for trade affairs to Europe (2013).

Between 2001 and 2005 he was senior executive if CAF, the Development Bank of Latin America (Caracas, Venezuela), being involve of sovereign lending in social developments. Previously he work in Ecuador in Commercial Banking and Corporate Finances.

Currently, he is Director of Shenzhen Stem Cell Engineering Technology Research and Development Center, Vice Chairman of Chinese Industry and Innovation Technology Strategic Alliance of Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine, Vice Chairman of China Institute of Strategy & Management (CISM), Member of Committee of International Advisers for the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, Chairman of Shenzhen Beike Biotechnology Co., Ltd, as well as Honorary Chairman of World Health Foundation. He has several international and domestic patents in the clinical application of adult stem cells.

John Speakman obtained his PhD at the University of Stirling, Scotland in 1984 and immediately afterwards went to the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, where he was successively a lecturer, senior lecturer, reader and ultimately made Professor in 1997. Between 2007 and 2011 he was Director of the Institute of Biological and Environmental Sciences. In 2011 he took up a position as a 1000 Talents ‘A’ professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology in Beijing. His research primarily concerns the causes and consequences of inter-individual variation in energy expenditure, including impacts of calorie restriction. He has published over 500 peer reviewed scientific papers, including 11 times in Nature and Science and twice on the cover of Nature. He has been awarded several international prizes including the Zoological Society of London scientific medal, and the Royal Society of Edinburgh/Saltire Society Scottish Science Medal. In 2016 he was the first Briton to be awarded the Chinese Academy of Sciences prize for international co-operation. In 2018 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS). He is on the board of reviewing editors at Science.

Howard Taylor has lived in Africa, Asia, Europe and the US. He has led a global corporate foundation, established a creative social enterprise, built government teams, and led a UN-hosted global partnership – all to improve the lives of millions of people.

As Vice-President and Managing Director of the Nike Foundation, Howard was the driving force behind the successful spin-out of Girl Effect as an independent, a creative social enterprise that uses branded mass and social media, technology and data to tackle negative social norms and change behaviours.

Prior to Nike, Howard held senior roles across the UK Government, including at the Department for International (DFID), Cabinet Office and Foreign Office. He was Chief of Staff to two Secretaries of State for International Development and led DFID’s country programmes in India and Ethiopia. In Ethiopia, he co-chaired the Development Assistance Group, responsible for coordinating the most impactful investment of over $3 billion/year of official development assistance.

Howard serves on the Board of Mercy Corps (Europe) and the WePROTECT Global Alliance, and is a member of the International Telecommunication Union Broadband Commission Working Group on Child Safety Online. He is married with two children and enjoys sports, arts, politics, and pursuing inspirational ideas that can change the world.

Mr. Daiming Fan is an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a Foreign Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the United States. He currently serves on the Education, Science, Culture, and Public Health Committee of the 13th National People's Congress, and is Vice President of the China Anti-Cancer Association; Vice President of the Asian Pacific Association of Gastroenterology; President of Xijing Hospital of Digestive Diseases of the Fourth Military Medical University; Director of the State Key Laboratory of Cancer Biology; Director of the National Clinical Research Center for Digestive Disease; an executive member of the Union for International Cancer Control; a member of the State Science and Technology Awards Commission; and a member of the State Textbook Committee. He is also the director of a national drug clinical trial institution.

Previously, Mr. Fan has served as Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; President of the Fourth Military Medical University; President of the Chinese Society of Gastroenterology; and President of the 2013 World Congress of Gastroenterology. He was selected as a delegate to the 14th CPC National Congress, and as deputy of the 11th and 13th National People's Congress. He was one of the first scholars funded by the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and one of the first Changjiang Distinguished Professors.

Mr. Fan has long been engaged in the clinical research of digestive diseases. With a special interest in studying macromedical strategies, he first proposed the theory of holistic integrative medicine and applied it in his research. He has participated in a large number of research projects, including the National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program), the 863 Program, the National Key Technology R&D Program, the National Major Scientific and Technological Special Project for "Significant New Drugs Development," the Key Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and a major consulting project with the Chinese Academy of Engineering. His accomplishments in these projects have been recognized through several prestigious awards and honors, including the National Science Progress Award for Innovation Teams; the National Science Progress Awards; the State Technological Invention Award; the Military National Science and Technology Progress Award; the Military Teaching Achievements Award; and the Science and Technology Progress Award of Shaanxi Province. He has also received 38 China Invention Patents, 18 Utility Model Patents, and a New Drug Certificate. His honors also include the French National Academy of Medicine Servier Prize, the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Progress Award, the Qiu Shi Practical Project Prize, and the "Science Chinese" Outstanding University President Prize. Mr. Fan has authored 31 books, and is also the Editor-in-Chief of the National Higher Medical Education Digital Textbooks, the Preclinical Medicine Intensive Reading Book Series, and the Cancer Research Frontier. He has been invited to serve as an editorial board member, associate editor, or editor by 13 international journals, including Nature Reviews Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Gut, and Hepatology. He has also published nearly 700 papers in top journals such as The Lancet, Nature Medicine, Nature Reviews Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Nature Clinical Practice Oncology, and Gut. He has supervised 186 graduate students and doctoral students. In 2010, Mr. Fan was awarded a First-Class Merit by the Central Military Commission for his outstanding achievements.

As a passionate and active advocate for sustainability for over two decades, Esther has been instrumental in establishing CDL’s leadership in sustainability and ESG best practices. These include publishing the first sustainability report using GRI standards in Singapore in 2008 and issuing the first green bond by a Singaporean company in 2017. A forerunner in embracing the UN SDGs, Esther was conferred 2018 SDG Pioneer for Green Infrastructure and A Low Carbon Economy by the UN Global Compact.

She sits on the boards or advisory platforms of a number of global organisations including the World Green Building Council, Singapore Green Building Council, UNEP Finance Initiative Real Estate Group, GRI Corporate Leadership Group, Asia Pacific Real Estate Association Singapore Chapter Board and Global Compact Network Singapore. Esther founded the Women4Green Network as she believes in empowering women to drive sustainable practices at home, at work and at play.

Dr Nina Anchugina has previously worked as an economist and data scientist in the banking, mining and social policy sectors and has a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Auckland, New Zealand (2017).

CSDA is a translational research centre based in New Zealand and working worldwide on projects that use data analytics for social good. CSDA leads a range of projects with government agencies, helping them to use rich data to address significant social challenges in sectors including child protection and homelessness. The centre is well known for delivering the Allegheny Family Screening Tool, a child protection predictive risk model built using administrative data, which has been used as a decision support tool in Allegheny County (PA, United States) since 2016.

At CSDA Nina leads translational predictive risk modelling research projects with human services agencies as well as taking a lead role on operations and strategy.

Dr. Awni Behnam began his public schooling in the United Kingdom, 1953-1959. After serving as commanding officer in the Navy, (Iraq) 1962-1969 he joined the University of Wales (UWIST) UK in 1972. and lectured in the Department of Maritime Studies,1974- l977 where he completed his higher education (MSc., PhD).

He joined the United Nations at UNCTAD,Geneva, in 1977 as Economic Affairs Officer and Assistant to the Director in the Shipping Division of UNCTAD before assuming responsibility as the Chief of Liaison to the Group of 77 for the Secretary-General of UNCTAD. He was involved in the elaboration of several UNCTAD conventions in the maritime disciplines. He was promoted in 1992 to the post of the Secretary of the Trade and Development Board of UNCTAD and UNCTAD Conferences which he organized between 1996 and 2004.

In 2000 he was promoted to the rank of Senior Advisor to the Secretary General of UNCTAD. He was a close collaborator and friend of the IOI founder Elisabeth Mann Borgese from 1974. In 2004 he was elected to post of President of the International Ocean Institute, (Malta) and in 2012 reappointed as the Honorary President of IOI a post was held by Elisabeth Mann Borgese.

In 2008 he was invited by the UN Secretary General Ban Ki moont o assume the responsibility of UN Commissioner General for the UN Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo 2010 as UN Assistant Secretary -General.

In December 2011 he was appointed with four other Experts to draft the initiative of the UN Secretary Generals the Ocean Compact and co-chaired NGO cluster at RIO +20. He also Directs the Malta Regional Training Course of IOI.

Dr. Behnam has received several international and national awards and honorary professor posts and has a large number of publications to his name. He is the author of the Blue Economy concept. Dr. Behnam holds a first degree in Business Administration (BA Mustensiriya University — 1968), a Masters (MSc.) in Development Economics and a Doctorate (PhD) from the University of Wales (1974 and 1976 respectively).

Born in Mousel, Iraq in 1940, he became a Swiss citizen in 1994. On the occasion of the entry of Switzerland to the UN, the Swiss Authorities honoured him with Swiss Diplomatic Passport for the duration of his service in the UN. He is married with two children and five grandchildren.

Mr. Miguel R. Bautista has over two decades of experience in economic and multilateral affairs. As Secretary of the Trade and Development Board, Mr. Bautista is tasked with facilitating the smooth functioning of the intergovernmental machinery in order for UNCTAD to fully contribute to the accomplishment of the global development agenda.

Before joining UNCTAD, Mr. Bautista was a career Philippine diplomat. As such, he served at the Permanent Missions of the Philippines to the United Nations in Geneva and in New York. He also served as Philippine Consul in New York, and as Head of Political Section at the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh.

He was a member of the international relations faculties of Miriam College in Quezon City and the College of St. Benilde in Manila. Mr. Bautista is also a regular contributor to the United Nations Institute for Training and Research in the areas of diplomatic skills training and development, multilateral diplomacy and conference management.

Mr. Bautista has been awarded the Order of Rizal (Philippines), the Order of Bernardo O’Higgins (Chile) and the Order of Rio Branco (Brazil). He has also been decorated for his service in the reserve of the Philippine Coast Guard where he currently holds the rank of Captain and where he earned the Outstanding Achievement, Merit, and Search and Rescue medals.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts in humanities, summa cum laude, from Matteo Ricci College at Seattle University, and his Masters in Public Administration with highest academic honours from the University of Illinois at Chicago, United States of America.

Currently, Ambassador Blackman is the Chair for the Trade and Development Committee in the World Trade Organization (WTO) and Chair of the SIDS Group in the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) respectively.

He has undertaken both the LLB Law and LLM International Trade Law at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom. Additionally, His Excellency is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Sally joined the Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children in March 2018, where she oversees people, finance and operations for the Partnership Secretariat, as well as investments from the Fund to End Violence Against Children.

Prior to this role, she worked for UNICEF for many years, most recently leading diverse advocacy initiatives with governments and business to advance the cause of children, including through multi-stakeholder platforms and initiatives, such as the World Economic Forum and the UN Global Compact. She also led the development of UNICEF’s strategic framework for partnerships in 2012, and managed relationships with some of UNICEF’s major government partners. In 2002-2006, she worked in the office of former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan on special political assignments and as Executive Officer.

An Australian national, Sally began her career in external relations and communications, including with the UNICEF-led Operation Lifeline Sudan, based in Nairobi, and later in support of the Balkans team during the 1999 Kosovo crisis. She also worked with UNICEF’s Division of Communication in New York; the UN-UNICEF joint office in Sydney (covering Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific); and with three National Committees for UNICEF – Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. She holds a Master’s degree in human rights from the University of London’s Institute of Commonwealth Studies.

Mr. Junhui Chen is Director of the Interventional and Cell Therapy Center of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital (PUSH), Vice Chairman of the PUSH Expert Committee, and head of the Clinical Project of PUSH National Stem Cell Clinical Research Institute. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Committee of Rehabilitation and Palliative Care of the China Anti-Cancer Association (CACA); Vice Chairman of the Expert Committee on Cancer Prevention and Treatment of the CrossStraits Medicine Exchange Association; Vice Chairman of the Cancer Pain Study Committee of the China Association for the Study of Pain; Vice Chairman of the CSCO Photodynamic Therapy Committee; and Vice Chairman of the Lung Cancer Comprehensive Treatment Branch, Minimally Invasive Cancer Therapy Committee of CACA.

As a professor, chief physician, and postdoctoral supervisor, Mr. Chen has led over 20 research projects, including projects funded from the 863 Program; subprojects under the 12th Five-Year Plan and 13th Five-Year Plan; NSFC-funded projects; projects funded by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the PRC; projects funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province; and projects covered by Shenzhen Scientific and Technological Plans. He has authored and coauthored five books and published over 100 papers, including 30 in SCI journals. He was granted two invention patents in China and won two ministry-level prizes in the Science and Technology Progress Awards. Mr. Chen is on the editorial board of several journals, including Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology, Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology and Rehabilitation, Journal of Modern Oncology, Chinese Journal of Interventional Imaging and Therapy, China Modern Medical & Clinical, and The Journal of Practical Medicine.

Audrey Chia is Programme Management Chair of the MSc. Environmental Management Programme which is supported by 9 faculties and schools across NUS. Using leadership and change as theoretical foundations, Audrey studies how health, environmental and social problems can be addressed by social entrepreneurship and innovative philanthropy. Her research has been published in JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association) and the Academy of Management. She has served as an expert on social entrepreneurship, philanthropy, innovative financing and inclusive growth at meetings of the ADB, OECD, United Nations, the Asia-Pacific Leaders’ Malaria Alliance. Her work has been presented at conferences of the Academy of Management, the Integrated Care Foundation, the European Union Workplace Innovation Network, the World Health Summit and the Xiong An International Health Forum.

Audrey directs NUS Business School’s Leadership Development Programme, which attracts senior executives from five continents. From 2011-2017, she was Programme Director of the NIHA (NUS Initiative to Improve Health in Asia) Healthcare Leadership Programme for senior leaders in the public, private and NGO sectors from 15 countries across Asia.

Mario (Mago) Clerici received his MD (honors) in 1985 and a postgraduate degree in Internal Medicine in 1990 from the University of Milano and then became an Associate Professor and a professor there. He directed the PhD School of Molecular and Translational Medicine at the University of Milano from 2010 to 2017, and from 2017 he has been the Head of the Department of Physiopathology and Transplantations at the same University. Since 2008, he has also been the Scientific Director of the Santa Maria Nascente IRCCS, Don Gnocchi Foundation in Milano. From 2010, he has been a scientific advisor at King Saud University in Riyadh (KSA). He has authored more than 600 papers and has been awarded national and international prizes. He has also been involved in a number of international Scientific Boards and serves as an editor on a number of scientific journals.

Professor Clerici is a clinical investigator with a remarkable track record of innovative research in the immunopathology of human diseases. His research dealt with HIV infection, immunopathology of non-transmittable conditions, conscious of their importance to global health etc. And he has got numerous achievements. Aside from his pioneering research, Professor Clerici has trained a number of immunologists and enriched our human knowledge by his lectures, articles, and his contributions to scientific conferences.

Ms. Limei Deng has been studying Cordyceps for 25 years. With so many years’ practical experiences and being taught carefully by old Tibetan doctors in Yushu, she has mastered the characteristics of Cordyceps sinensis. What is more important is that she has summed up the nutrient production technology of Cordyceps sinensis and the storage technology that can have Cordyceps sinensis to maintain nutrients for a long time.

Prof. Charron Dominique got his education to PhD in France, and had his Post-doctoral Fellow and Senior Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Immunology, University of Stanford, USA, majoring in Immunology.

Prof. Charron Dominique is a Professor Emeritus of Immunology in Université Paris-Diderot and a Medical Advisor for International Biology. He is also an honourable professor, professor advisory, or visiting professor in universities and research institutions in various countries, including France, Germany, Canada and China etc. He was a founder of HLAetMédecine（1990-）, EISBM – European Institute for System Biology and Medicine (2014-) etc. and had positions in Ecole Doctorale B2T – Université Paris Diderot (Council), Deutsche Krebschilfe (Scientific Council) Germany, EFI (European Foundation of Immunogenetics) (Scientific Council) and so on. He has been an editor or member of the editorial committee of various international magazines, such as Tissue Antigens, Scandinavian Journal of Immunology, Human Immunology, European Journal of Immunogenetics. Due to his achievement, he got a series of awards and distinctions, such as Rose Payne Award American Society of Histocompatibility & Immunogenetics (ASHI) (2017) and over ten France domestic ones.

Ms. Estabillo has been in the child protection work for over two decades, including overseeing a Child Helpline in a reputable media-based welfare organization to becoming the manager of its Manila and Regional based operations. She was an Unsung Hero awardee in the 2016 Lopez Achievement Award and on the same year also became the Deputy Regional Representative and Advocacy Representative of Child Helpline International (CHI) for Asia Pacific Region. She has also been invited as speaker, panelist and delegate to various national and international conferences.

On September 2017, she joined Plan International Philippines as Manager for Cyber-Safe Spaces project, a Child Online Protection project that focuses in combating Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (OSEC). She leads, oversees, build alliances and represent Plan International Philippines in important events related to Child Online Protection.

Chris Fabian (@hichrisfabian) leads UNICEF Ventures, which invests in open source technology for the public good. The team focuses on investments that address issues like climate change, job loss, human population movements, and pandemics.

Chris co-founded UNICEF’s Innovation Unit in 2007, and developed the organization’s innovation strategy, as well as advising Secretary-Generals Ban Ki-moon and António Guterres on frontier technology issues including AI, data science, blockchain, and cryptocurrency. His teams created products like RapidPro, an SMS-based platform for moving information with more than 7m users, MagicBox which uses AI to track Ebola and other diseases, and four corridors for building policy around drones and UAVs.

Chris is a Commissioner on Global Health Futures for the Lancet / FT and holds honorary scholar positions at the Chinese Central Academy for Fine Arts, and New York University, as well as Edmund Hillary and Tribeca Disruption Fellowships. He was a member of Time Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” list in 2013. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the American University in Cairo and a Master’s in Communication from the New School in New York.

Professor Dapeng Jin is currently Chairman of the Academic Advisory Committee of the Medical Management Research Center of the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University and Medical Director General of the China Ice and Snow Programs of the Beijing Winter Olympics. In addition, he is also a Vice President of the China Health Tourism Insurance Industry Innovation Alliance, former Director General of the Beijing Municipal Health Bureau, a Vice President of the China Medical Association, President of the Beijing Medical Association.

Rob is an independent consultant and researcher with interests in venture philanthropy and social entrepreneurship, particularly in Asia. He is an Associate of the Centre for the Study of Philanthropy & Public Good at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland.

Rob originally trained as a synthetic organic chemist, receiving his doctorate from Oxford University, followed by research posts at universities in the US, Switzerland and Ethiopia Following a career spanning 15 years in aid and development, he directed an Oxford-based venture philanthropy fund.

In 2005 Rob was elected the first Visiting Fellow at the new Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship, Said Business School at Oxford University, while also managing the launch and development of the European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA) and the European Venture Philanthropy Fund. In 2010 he co-founded the Singapore-based Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN), to strengthen a community of venture philanthropy funds serving Asia’s social entrepreneurs.

From 2011 - 17, Rob was appointed a Visiting Senior Fellow at NUS Business School, Singapore, where his research interests included innovation in philanthropy, giving circles, angel impact investment and new models of corporate giving. He is a global advisor to Social Ventures Hong Kong, an advisory board member of the Conference Board, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Commerce & Manufacturing.

Dr. Lam Khee Poh got his Ph.D. (Architecture) in Carnegie Mellon University, USA, after his achieving Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) in University of Nottingham, UK. He is a Registered Architect, Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects, UK and also a fellow of the International Building Performance Simulation Association.

Professor Lam is an educator, researcher, architect and consultant who specializes in life-cycle building information modeling and computational design support systems for total building performance analysis and building diagnostics. He has completed many major funded research projects in Singapore and the USA, and findings are widely published. He serves as a member of the Editorial Boards of Building Simulation: An International Journal (Springer and Tsinghua University Press), and Buildings (MDPI AG, Switzerland).

He is currently an Advisory Board member of the Singapore Centre for Liveable Cities, Ministry of National Development, and a member of the Singapore Future Economy Council (Built Environment) Sub Committee. He is a Management Board member of the Institute of Real Estate Studies and Board member of the Smart Systems Institute in NUS. He is also as an Advisory Board member of Delos, USA, which established the world's first building standard focused exclusively on human health and wellness.

He is a building performance consultant for several major award-winning projects and certified green buildings in the private and public sectors in Singapore, China and USA. He was awarded the 2013 Alexander Schwarzkopf Prize for Technological Innovation from the US National Science Foundation “for exemplary research contribution to technology innovation and positive impact on technology, industry and the society as a whole”. He also received an IBM Faculty Award in 2010. He was appointed Professor Emeritus by Carnegie Mellon University in Aug 2018.

Ms.Lin is the director of Office of Clinical Psychology Center, Peking University,also the secretary general and standing committee member of Professional Committee of Psychotherapy and Psychological Counseling under the Chinese Mental Health Association.

Peter W. Leder is a Governor of the Board of the International Ocean Institute (IOI), and serves also in the role of IOI Treasurer since 2013. His connection to and close cooperation with the IOI spans back to 2001. In addition to his work with the IOI, he has experience of more than 15 years as a ports and shipping consultant worldwide and still practises as an independent consultant in international maritime transport & logistics projects. Past posts include that of General Manager of the German affiliate of British Maritime Technology Ltd (BMT), an international maritime engineering and consulting company; and Team Leader at Hamburg Port Consulting GmbH (HPC), a leading port consultancy company based in Germany. Beside his engagement for IOI he is a Member of the Governing Board of the Swiss-based Ocean Science and Research Foundation (OSRF). He holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of Kiel, Germany.

Professor Yiting Li has been an Expert with Government's Special Allowance. He is now an expert of the Medical Ethics Expert Committee of the National Health Committee, an expert of the Expert Group of the China's Human Resource Management Department of the Ministry of Science And Technology, Director General of the Sixth Committee of the Medical Ethics Sub-Committee of the Chinese Medical Association, Director General of the Beijing Medical Ethics Society, Chairman of the Medical Ethics Expert Committee of the Beijing Municipal Medical Association, and a Deputy Secretary General of the China Life Care Association. In addition, he is also at the national level a member of the Ethics Committee of the China Medical Doctor Association, a national CDC ethics review expert and a project evaluation expert of the China Ministry of Science and Technology, National Health Committee, Ministry of Education, Chinese Medical Association, Chinese Medical Doctor Association, National Social Science Fund and other scientific researches. Meanwhile, he also has the titles in Beijing as a member or deputy director or advisor in several institutional ethics committees. Academically, he has published 23 books and more than 100 papers.

Yee Wei is a physician and health systems researcher of Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS).

He has two areas of interest. The first area is the design and evaluation of integrated health and social care systems. Recent projects include Alexandra Hospital’s transitional and community-based programs; patient co-designing home-based healthcare solutions; development and evaluation of nurse assistant robot; and a case study of a multi-sector integrated care system in the Philippines to improve primary care in impoverished communities.

The second area of work explores the role of social innovation in health. Recent projects include the evaluation of social enterprises in Singapore and in Southeast Asia providing community-based healthcare through use of technologies and community empowerment; a systematic review of social ventures in obesity prevention; and the examination of the impact of philanthropic innovations in health.

Yee Wei has served as an expert for the Finnish National Institute for Health and Welfare, ADB, the Asia-Pacific Leaders’ Malaria Alliance and Singapore’s Ministry of Health. From 2011-2017, he was Program Director of the NIHA (NUS Initiative to Improve Health in Asia) Healthcare Leadership Program for senior leaders in the public, private and NGO sectors. Before Joining NUS, Yee Wei worked as a health policy researcher at The RAND Corporation, USA.

Prof. Lisheng Liu got her higher education in Peking Union Medical College and had worked in Peking Union Medical College Hospital and Beijing Fuwai Hospital for years. In 1980, she went to the University of Alabama for postdoctoral research. She has served respectively as Deputy Dean of Beijing Fuwai Hospital, Director of Internal Medicine, Director of Hypertension Research Section and a professor. She has been selected as a member of the WHO Committee of Cardiovascular Diseases, Chairman of the China Hypertension League, Chairman of the China Society of Cardiovascular Diseases, Director of the International Society of Hypertension (ISH), Co-Chair of the WHO Executive Committee of the Cardiovascular Diseases in Developing Countries, Chairman of the World Alliance of Hypertension (WHL 2006-2013), a Deputy Director of the Prevention and Research Center of Cardiovascular Disease, China Ministry of Health. In nowadays, she is Director General of the Research Institute of Beijing Hypertension League. She has taken the lead in the prevention and treatment of hypertension population in China, in large-scale multi-center prospective clinical research, and in preparation of guidelines for prevention and treatment of hypertension in China. She is a world famous cardiovascular disease expert.

Mr. Qiutian Lu graduated from the China Foreign Affairs University. He has been engaged in Chinese diplomatic work for 42 years. He had served at the China Embassy in the Netherlands for 14 years. Then he became Ambassador to Luxembourg, Romania and Germany respectively. He is former President of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs. Now he is a senior consultant to the China Institute for International Strategic Studies and a consultant to the National Research Institute of CPC Construction.

Mr.Li graduated from School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, has dedicated in traditional venture capital for 10 years, among which directed the projects of Fang Yuanming Science and Technology and Hangzhou Tangji Medical Technology.

In 2016，he started to work in the area of block-chain technology and capital. He served as Senior Executive and Strategy Consultant in some industry head agencies such as Huobi Group, MXC Exchange and HiChain Foundation.

Mr.Li also committed to wellfare of education. In 2008，he co-founded Beautiful China, a program for Chinese and American university students to deliever teaching service in countryside. Over the past years, he led teams to carry out the program in Taijiang County in Guizhou Province of China.

In the context of rapid urbanization in the world, Mr. Lu has long dedicated himself to enhancing international exchange and cooperation for the purpose of promoting sustainable cities and human settlements. Under his leadership, the Global Forum on Human Settlements, a non-profit international organization, was granted the Special Consultative Status with ECOSOC. By the year of 2018, the annual session of Global Forum on Human Settlements has been productively held in China, USA, Brazil, Germany, Colombia, Ecuador and Thailand for 13 consecutive years. It has created a significant platform for high-level dialogue for regional and local governments, NGOs, business sector and academic community all around the world, thus making great contribution to building sustainable cities and human settlements and promoting the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), the United Nations Habitat Agenda, 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and New Urban Agenda. Mr. Lu has been actively engaged in green, low-carbon city research and campaign. He organized global experts in formulating the International Green Model City (IGMC) Standards and has offered instructive advices and insights in advancing sustainable urban development, including China’s new-type urbanization process. He participated in drafting important declarations and outcome documents and acted as the chief editor of the bilingual book Water and Human Settlements in the 21st Century. Mr. Lu also serves as the chief editor of the bilingual publication World Best Practice Magazine (Asia-Pacific Edition) The publication focuses on disseminating forward-looking information, research results and best practices in relation to sustainable cities and human settlements, and strengthening exchange and cooperation in and outside China. In recognition of his outstanding efforts in promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Agenda, Mr. Lu was honored with the 2016 United Nations Spirit Award in New York City during the 71th Anniversary of the United Nations.

In November 2018, the Sustainable City Committee of China Research Society of Urban Development was established in Beijing and Mr. Lu was the founding president. The Sustainable City Committee aims to promote the implementation of ecological civilization and green development policies in China, to provide innovative theories and technical support for making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, prosperous, resilient and sustainable, and to accelerate the transformation of Chinese cities from quantity-driven growth to quality-oriented sustainable development.

Prof. Luo Jie is among the first group of medical leaders in Hubei Province. He is currently President and Party Secretary of Taihe Hospital in Shiyan City. He is also a member of editorial board of Chinese Journal of Clinical Neurosurgery, Chinese Journal of Nautical Medicine and Hyperbaric Medicine, China Medical Equipment Journal, China Journal of Health Quality Management and Journal of Hubei Medical College. Marija Manojlovic is a political scientist, researcher and a children’s advocate, currently leading on strategy and innovation within the Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children and advising on the End Violence Fund’s investment approaches. Marija has been working for over a decade in international development, principally focused on children. Prior to joining the Partnership, Marija has worked with UNICEF in East Africa and Central and Eastern Europe on issues that affect children through innovations in research, partnerships, and system reforms, testing new approaches and child-led methods. Throughout her career, Marija has focused on shedding light on the nature, drivers and impacts of violence against children as part of a broader agenda on early childhood learning, quality education, social and emotional skills of children, as well as through her work on the Violence Against Children Survey and information poverty of children in Mozambique. Marija holds an MSc in International Relations and Diplomacy from Leiden University.

Prof . Bin Mao, Master of Science in Marine Science and Management, worked for the State Oceanic Administration of China (SOA) from 1969 to 2008 and successively held senior academic, governmental and diplomatic posts: Secretary-General, the China Ocean Mineral Resources R&D Association (COMRA), 2001—2008; Deputy Permanent Representative of the People’s Republic of China to the International Seabed Authority, Kingston, Jamaica, 1998-2001; Advisor and Deputy Representative of China to the Preparatory Commission for the International Seabed Authority and for the International Tribunal on the Law of the Sea during 1986-1994, and then to the International Seabed Authority, 1995-2008; Deputy Director-General, the International Cooperation Department, SOA, Beijing, China, 1994-1998. During this period of time, he concurrently served as Chairman of the National Committee for Implementing the Integrated Coastal Zone Management Demonstration Program in Xiamen, China, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programs (UNDP) and Global Environment Facilities (GEF). He was a member of the Leading Group for preparing China Ocean Agenda 21.

He is senior research fellow enjoying the special allowance of the State Council, and translated, edited and published more than 10 monographs. After retired in 2008, he served as senior consultant for the Department of International Cooperation, SOA, and head of the Chinese Delegation to the Workshop for Managing the Potential Conflicts for the South China Sea in 2008, 2009, 2010. He is now honorable professor, guest professor, and senior research fellow for several universities and research institutions.

Shanaaz Mathews is Director of the Children’s Institute and a professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Cape Town. She has a PhD in Public Health from the University of the Witwatersrand. She has experience in the women’s and children’s sectors and served as a technical advisor to government programmes specializing in violence against women and children. She is currently a member of the management committee for the DST-NRF Centre of Excellence in Human Development, at Wits University and has served as an International Advisory Board member, on the Multi Country Study on the Drivers of Violence led by the UNICEF Innocenti Research Office. Her research interests include violence against women and children and its intergenerational effects - she has led the seminal research into child homicide in South Africa. Her current research is focused on understanding gaps in the child protection system with a focus on alternative models of treating trauma in low-resourced settings. She has led the determinants of violence against women and children study for the South African Inter-ministerial parliamentary committee and has served as a technical advisor on South Africa’s diagnostic review of government programmes to address violence against women and children.

Mr. Sun worked in CITIC Group, CITIC Bank and CITIC Trust, and also served as general manager in China International Economic Consultants. He participated in and directed more than 10 large projects of investment and financing and industrial integrations. He has extensive theoretical knowledge and working experience in areas of industrial investment and financing, especially some successful experience in the field of cooperation between industry and finance of CITIC Group. Qiao Nan has over 10 years’ experiences in the cutting-edge field of Bigdata/ Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, and made significant achievements in different areas. He has published more than 10 papers on the top international journals in his PhD, the total citation exceeded 290 and has made significant contributions to the cancer drug development during his stay in Novartis, and won him the Novartis Team Award and Novartis Select Award. In 2015, Nan joined Accenture China as the leading data scientist and setup Accenture China AI Lab, which was focused on building AI capabilities, AI assets and AI industry solutions. Antonella Vassallo has an academic background in Chemistry and Biology with specific experience in environmental appraisal and the aquaculture and nutrition of finfish. Since 2014, she is the Managing Director of the International Ocean Institute (IOI) at its Headquarters in Malta, and an ex-ufficio member of the IOI Governing Board (GB).

Ms Vassallo has served as a Board Member, appointed by the responsible Minister of the Government of Malta, of the Malta Resources Authority (MRA); the Board responsible for regulatory oversight on mineral, water and energy resources and for policy, planning and advisory. She has also served as a Member of the Natural Heritage Advisory Committee (NHAC) of the Malta Environment and Planning Authority (MEPA); advising on the environmental implications of development applications in environmentally sensitive areas or in sites outside the development zone. Other work also includes lecturing, research and organisation of fieldwork activities with the University of Malta.

Cherdsak Virapat is currently Executive Director of International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD). Before joining ITD, Mr. Virapat was the Director General of Network of Aquaculture Centres in Asia-Pacific during 2014-2019 and Executive Director of International Ocean Institute Headquarters (IOI HQ) in Malta during 2008-2014. He previously served as an officer of the Royal Thai Government for 27 years. He holds a B.Sc. in Fishery Management from Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand; an M.Sc. in Fishery Science from the University of Helsinki, Finland; and a Ph.D. in Fisheries Management from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He was awarded the Elisabeth Mann Borgese Medal in 2014 in recognition of his leadership of the IOI throughout his term of office.

Mr. Guochen Wang is currently a Vice President and Secretary General of the Chinese Medicine Association. He is also former President of China Traditional Chinese Medicine Press.

Mr. Wang has been engaged for years in Chinese medicine book publishing, cultural communication, academic promotion and other work. He once served as Director of the Administration Office of the Expert Committee of Chinese Medicine Culture Construction and Science Popularization under the supervision of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He was also Director of the Textbook Office of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He published nearly 10 his own academic works.

Ms. Hanfeng Wang is a professor. She served as Deputy Director of the Health Department in the Ministry of Health, a Vice President of the China Association of Geriatric Care, and a Vice President of the Women's Physicians Association. After retirement, she has engaged in medical science popularization, geriatric care and health prevention.

Professor Hongman Wang has been engaged in theoretical and empirical research on health and social development for many years. Prof. Wang Xishan is currently Chairman of the Chinese Medical Association's Colorectal Oncology Committee, Waiting Chairman of the Colorectal Cancer Committee of the China Cancer Society, the Chairman of the Youth Committee of the China Cancer Society's Colorectal Cancer Committee, and Chairman of the Chinese Medical Association's Colorectal Oncology Committee NOSES Committee. Ms. Yi Wang has engaged in clinical diet nutrition for more than 35 years, adhering to the inheritance of Chinese medicine academics, its development and modern nutrition. Her team has achieved clinical characteristics of dietetic nutrition. She participated in examination and approval of 37 national nutrition standards, led 2 and participated 23 assessments of high-level textbooks for China army. She also directed 9 key researches for Olympic programs in China. In addition, she was an only un-army nutrition expert for the Military Parade of the 60th National Anniversary of PRC. She participated Wenchuan earthquake relief, gave major military support to Shenzhou 10th and 11th Spacecraft and to the Liaoning Aircraft Carrier; provided nutrition guidance for the Chinese Table Tennis Team in 4 Olympic Games, for the National Short Track Speed Skating Team in 2 Winter Olympic Games and completed some other important medical care tasks.

Ms. Wang has achieved quite a number of awards, such as National Model of March 8th Women Pioneer, National March 8th Women Pioneer, Top Ten Capital Health Guarders, and Asian Modern Nutrition Special Contributor. Now she is a member of the National Food Safety Standards Review Committee and an expert of the Health Care Expert Committee of the China Academy of China Medical Sciences. In addition, she is President of the Health Care Behavior Research Institute under the China Society of Behavioral Law, Chief Health Education Expert of the China Association of Chinese Medicine, Most Influential Health Education Expert in China, Chief Technology Officer/Executive Officer of the Beijing TCM Prevention and Food Adjustment Project.

Professor Zhengguo Wang is one of the main founders of China's research in impact injury, trauma ballistics and transportation medicine. He is an academic leader of the national key discipline "Field Surgery". Having committed to basic theory and application research of trauma for more than 50 years, he has achieved a number of internationally advanced or pioneering scientific research outcomes and has contributed significantly to the development of war wound medicine in China. He was honored respectively with 1 First Prize and 5 Second Prizes of the China State Science and Technology Progress Award, more than 20 provincial and ministerial level awards. In 1997, he was awarded the Medical Science and Technology Award by Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation of Hong Kong. In 1998, he obtained the Michael DeBakey International Military Medical Award by United Health Service University, being the only Asian who had won this honor since its establishment. In 2000, he was given the Medical Science Award of Chen Jiageng and International Transportation Medicine Major Achievement Award. In 2002, he received the 4th Guanghua Engineering Technology Award.

Professor Changlu Wen is Standing Director of the China National Medicine Association and Director of its Science Popularization Branch and is an expert with the special allowance of the State Council. He is also an expert for several institutions and activities, such as the Chinese Medicine Culture Construction and Science Popularization Committee of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, proof reading of scientific journals, Science popularization of the National TCM Society, selection of excellent journals, China Alliance of Industries, universities and research institutions for Health Management, China Academic Committee of the TCM Society, assessment of Scientific and Technological Progress Award etc. In addition, he is an honorable professor for several universities and colleges of TCM, advisor for some magazines, column writer for a few newspapers, a guest speaker for a number of TV stations, for he has been engaged long in various medical education, clinic, scientific researches, and management work. He has gained rewards in his research of Chinese medicine culture, basic theory of TCM, health policy, and treatment of spleen and stomach diseases and some intractable diseases with TCM. He has continuously planned, hosted, and participated in a large number activities for Chinese medicine culture and academic communication, and have delivered more than 600 lectures and academic reports (times). He has published more than 100 academic papers, more than 2,000 articles of literature, history, political theory, science popularization and etc. with more than 80 books being published. Some of his works have been collected in some relevant works compiled by state organizations, won government awards, been reprinted, and been translated into foreign languages. Some of his deeds have been reported by dozens of domestic and foreign media, and he is included in more than 30 kinds of dictionaries such as "British Who's Who of Cambridge" and "Biography of Chinese Scientists".

Lothar Willmitzer is the founding director of Max-Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology. He is the member of the "Academia Europaea", "Leopoldina", Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Science. He serves as the honorary professor at the University of Potsdam. He has successfully founded a number of plant biotech startup companies. Having published more than 300 publications in scientific journals and books, Lothar Willmitzer also has nearly 50 patent applications which have originated from the institutes under his guidance.

Wong Poh Kam, who obtained two BSc.’s, an MSc. and a Ph.D. from MIT, has published extensively in leading international refereed journals on entrepreneurship and innovation, and has also consulted widely for international agencies including the World Bank, OECD and Asian Development Bank, various government agencies in Singapore, and many private corporations in Asia. He was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at U.C. Berkeley, a visiting scholar at Stanford University and Oxford University, and a Pacific Leadership Fellow at UC San Diego.

Besides his academic position, he was concurrently the Senior Director of NUS Entrepreneurship Centre from August 2001 until July 2019. He initiated StartUp@Singapore, the largest annual business plan competition in Singapore (1999-2012), the DBS-NUS Social Venture Challenge Asia, the largest annual social entrepreneurship competition in Asia (2013-18), and the Alipay-NUS Enterprise Socisal Innovation Challenge (2018-19). He also directed and co-chaired the Port Innovation Ecosystem Re-imagined (PIER71) program, a joint initiative of NUS Enterprise and the Maritime Port Authority (MPA) of Singapore (2018-).

An entrepreneur prior to joining academia and an active angel investor with investment in tech start-ups in Singapore, Silicon Valley, China and India, he was the founding chairman of Business Angel Network (Southeast Asia), and is an advisor to a venture capital fund (iGlobe Partners) in Singapore. He received the Public Administration Medal (Silver) Award from the Singapore Government in 2013 for his contribution to education in Singapore, and the “Entrepreneur for the World” Award (Educator Category) from the World Entrepreneurship Forum in 2015. He is currently a board member of the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS), and the co-curator of the World Economic Forum (WEF)’s Transformation Map on Entrepreneurship.

Ph.D. from McGill University with field-oriented research and publications on coastal geomorphology, coastal management, coastal tourism, climate change adaptation and sea-level rise, small islands, tsunami-impacted coasts, disaster risk reduction and mangroves. With respect to climate change impacts and adaptation : IPCC Lead Author in the 2001 AR3 (Small Islands), and Coordinating Lead Author in the 2007 AR4 (Coasts) and the 2014 AR5 (Coasts), and Contributing Author in the 2019 SROCC (Small islands and coasts). Also Coordinating Lead Author in the 2005 MEA (Small Islands) and the 2016 GEO6 (Asia-Pacific, coasts). Received the National University of Singapore Special Commendation Award in 2008. Proposal on ‘Future mangroves’ was a tie-winner in the climate change adaptation category of the 2014 MIT Climate CoLab contest. One of 25 Singapore Science Pioneers on Singapore’s 50th anniversary (SG50) in 2015.

Professor Yu Xiong is the Chair Professor of Technology and Operations Management in Newcastle Business School of Northumbria University. He is also a Fellow of University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and a visiting Fellow of Durham University Business School. Internationally, he is on the Review Panel of UNESCO Chair in the UK as well as a member of UNESCO Expert Network. In the China side, Professor Xiong is a visiting Professor and Director of the Institute of Science and Technology Innovation Policy of Zhejiang University and visiting Professor of Chongqing University and Central South University in China. He is also a Fellow of the China Science and Innovation Research Centre of Tsinghua University. For the bilateral collaboration between UK and China, he was the principal academic investigator of the 1 million GBP Tus-forge accelerator project, funded by Innovation UK and played an instrumental role to create Cocoon Global Ltd, the 7000 sq meters innovation space based in central London, which is now known as the largest technology transfer platform between China and the UK. He is co- Chair of Cocoon Global while having extensive and profound collaborative relationships with many other big industry players, such as Unilever, Bombardier, SAP, DOW Chemical, National Heath Service.

Mr. Huadong Yang got his bachelor of aircraft manufacturing at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, had his post graduate study of economic management in Tsinghua University, and was a member of an advanced research course in International Finance and Project Finance co-organized by the University of Pennsylvania and Shanghai Jiaotong University.

In education, he was the head of the Teaching and Research Section of Systematic Engineering, School of Management, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, where he lectured on Management of Systematic Engineering and Operations Research. Then he was a Deputy Director of the Research Center of Social Responsibility for Innovation and Enterprises, the School of Public Administration, Tsinghua University, mainly engaged in research of the development of public welfare organizations, where he published two books by Tsinghua University Press titled "Concentration of Chinese Youth Entrepreneurship Cases".

In commerce, he served as manager general of the Energy Technology Department of China New Technology Development Corporation, head of Energy Conservation and Environmental Investment Company, Shenzhen Energy Group, and now he is CEO of China Food Industry Investment Guarantee Co., Ltd..

In public welfare, he was a vice president of the China Association for Youth Entrepreneurship Promotion (CAYEP) and chairman of the National Entrepreneurship Mentoring Committee. For more than a decade, CAYEP, a charity providing supports to entrepreneurship, has pushed over 10,000 start-ups to succeed.

Dr. Zeeb’s profession started as a Junior house officer in surgery at St. Josef Hospital Linnich, Germany, then a Senior House Officer SHO at the Department of Obstetrics/Gynaecology, Walsgrave Gen. Hospital, Coventry, UK. During 1992-1995, he became an Acting Principal Medical Officer and Head of District Health Team of Engela Hospital & District, Namibia (volunteer for German Development Service DED). Since 1996, he became a scientist and a associate professor, then professor working respectively in the Department of Epidemiology, German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, the Department of Epidemiology and Medical Statistics, School of Public Health, University of Bielefeld, the Department of Epidemiology and Medical Statistics of School of Public Health, University of Bielefeld, IMBEI Institute for Medical Statistics, Epidemiology and Biometry, University of Mainz, Department of Prevention and Evaluation, Leibniz-Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology-BIPS, University of Bremen. In this period of time, he worked as a scientist (P4) as well for the Department of Public Health And Environment，World Health Organization.

Professor Lin Zhao was a Doctoral Tutor, a Deputy Director of Nutrition Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital, a “Chief Expert of Health Education” of the China National Health Commission, a Preventive Health Consultation Expert of the Central Health Care Committee.

He is now a Vice Chairman of the Trace Element Branch of the China TCM Association of China; a member of the Board of Directors and of Expert Committee of the China Association of Geriatrics; a Director of the China Food Science and Technology Society; a Director of the Trace Element Branch of the China Medicine Association; a Vice Chairman of the "Magnesium" Research Society of the China Biophysical Society; Executive Director of the Research Institute of Trace Elements and Food Chain, China Agriculture Society.

Mr. Yongsheng Zhong has studied philosophy in Peking University and is now a visiting scholar at the Department of Philosophy of Peking University. His research is focused on basic philosophy of traditional Chinese economics. And he is now preparing to open a new course of history of Chinese economy and culture.

His series of works on interpretation of Chinese classic works have been published by the Xinhua Publishing House with a sub-title of “Great Auditorium of Mr. Yongsheng Zhong on Sinology", among which the two books titled as "Lectures on Yellow Emperor's Canon" and "Interpretation of Yellow Emperor's Canon" have been sold more than 20,000 copies.

Mr. Zhong has insisted in studying Chinese classics such as "Yellow Emperor's Canon", "Guanzi", "Moral Classics", "Analects of Confucius", "Shangshu" and "Historical Records". He also has a book named "Chinese Classical Economics" published and sold the English copyright of it at the Frankfurt International Book Fair in October 2012.

He was offered a the Best Book Writer Award in Liaoning Province in July 2014.

Mr.Zhong obtained his master degree of computer science and technology in University of Science and Technology of China.In 2008,he served as a vice president of Shenzhen Innovation and Capital Group.He carries extensive experience in industry policy, projects and fund management, mainly focusing on areas of Internet, electronic information and biology technology, etc. Mr.Zhong has directly managed more than 30 funds, with a gross amount of more than 5.8 billion yuan.In 2012, he was awarded as Top 10 Venture Capitalists of China by Qingke Group.In 2019, as a member of the founding team, he joined the BCT Capital and has served as general manager.

Ms. Jiaxiu Zhou is the Director of the Department of Psychology at SZCH, as well as a member of the Pedology Team at CMA Chinese Society of Psychiatry; the Vice Chairperson of Pediatrics and Child Healthcare Specialty Committee in Guangdong; Supervisor of the Committee's ADHD Team; and Deputy Supervisor of the Pedology Team at Shenzhen Medical Association Psychiatry Branch. Ms. Zhou has over 20 years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating mental diseases suffered by children and adolescents, including Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Depressive Disorder, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She also practices family psychotherapy and EMDR psychotherapy.

Dr. Yimin Zhu is an expert who enjoys the Special Allowance of the China State Council. He is also a National-level Candidate for the Talent Project of the Ministry of Personnel and a Young and Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions of the Ministry of Health. In addition to the above mentioned work and duties, he is also Director of the Hunan Provincial Research Institute of Emergency Medicine; Director of Hunan Provincial Key Laboratory of Critical Metabolism; Editor-in-Chief of "Practical Shock" (a journal); Chairman Designate of the Science and Technology Popularization Branch, Chinese Medical Association; head of the Pediatric Emergency Section of the Emergency Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; a Vice President of Hunan Medical Association and Executive Director of the Emergency Professional Committee of it. In addition, he is also an Excellent Expert of Hunan Province and a Medical Pioneer of Hunan Province. He has been honored with 9 provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological progress awards. He has edited 12 medical monographs, and published 240 academic papers.

Professor Houde Zhou works at the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University. In addition to the above duties, he also serves as Director of the Key Laboratory of Metabolic Ophthalmology in Hunan Province and Director of the Laboratory of Genetic Endocrine and Metabolic Diseases at the Second Xiangya Hospital.

His social work includes being a Deputy Director of the Endocrinology Expert Committee of Osteoporosis Branch of the Chinese Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics; a Standing Committee Member of Osteoporosis Branch of the China Healthcare International Exchange Promotion Association; and a Deputy Director of the Health Education and Promotion Committee of the Hunan Preventive Medicine Association; a member of Basic Committee of the Endocrinology Committee of the Chinese Medical Association; a member of the Diabetes Prevention and Control Committee of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association. He is a winner of the Hunan Outstanding Youth Fund and of the 7th Hunan Youth Science and Technology Award, and a Selected Person for Changsha Science and Technology Leading Talents Program. He has directed 6 National Natural Science Foundation programs, 1 National Science and Technology Supporting Program, 1 Major Science and Technology Project of the Ministry of Education, and 7 Hunan Science and Technology Major Projects. He was honored with 1 Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress, 2 First Prizes for Scientific and Technological Progress of Hunan Province, 4 other provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, 3 national invention patents, and 3 new national invention patents. He has published more than 80 SCI papers in journals as JCI, Faseb J, Bone and so on.
